Symposia within re:publica 2019
The symposia on May 7th and 8th, held at the same time as re:publica 2019, will examine two current trend-oriented topics and how they are turning their respective industries upside down: How does festivalisation and digitalisation influence the event industry? What potential lies in the market for hemp products? Throughout two days we offer a platform for intensive, professional exchange, knowledge transfer and encounters. The symposia will take place at the Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin and are hosted by re:publica in cooperation with the dfv Conference Group.
The symposium "events re:loaded - festivalisation of events" will highlight digitisation in the event industry. It explores topics such as artificial intelligence and data protection as well as aspects of sustainability and classifies the megatrend of festivalisation. The symposium, which is held in German, will be co-organised by the trade journal tw tagungswirtschaft of the dfv Mediengruppe.
The symposium "Digital Hemp - the oil of the 21st century" focuses on the potential of hemp plants. Products made of hemp and cannabis are currently experiencing a renaissance and are gaining more and more momentum - both worldwide and in Europe. Digital networking, state-of-the-art information technologies and the Internet are bringing a new dynamic to the subject. The content of the symposium will be co-organised by MJ Universe.
